



ABOUT THE PROJECT
Granger-Hunter Improvement District (GHID), together with EDGEhomes and M&T Enterprises, will be installing a new sewer system (main lines/laterals) along portions of 3500 South, 1950 West, 3800 South, and Redwood Road in West Valley City (see map at right). This project will increase system resiliency and improve reliability of service to the community.

SCHEDULE
Construction: April 2025 – Fall 2025
Nights: Sunday - Thursday, 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.
Days: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
IMPACTS
The contractor will maintain access to businesses, residences, and connecting roads as much as possible; however, traffic along the various roadways may experience temporary closures, lane shifts, single-lane traffic, flaggers, restricted access, and/or occasional brief delays within the work zones (see Updates for more information). Street parking in active construction zones will be restricted. Business/property owners will be notified in advance of any scheduled service or access interruptions. Also, businesses/residents nearby will likely experience equipment noise, dust, and vibrations.

SAFETY
PLEASE, BE CAREFUL! For your own safety and others, drive slowly; be cautious; pay close attention to workers, signs and equipment; and maintain a safe distance when driving, biking or walking near construction work zones.

Signs and barriers are positioned for your safety. Do not move barricades, signs, or enter taped-off areas.
